This project involved the formal closure of ten regulated USTs located at a former trucking facility. The tank sizes ranged from 1,000 gallon to 12,000 gallon. During tank removal, seven additional USTs were found and included in the removal project. The underground storage tanks were closed in accordance with the NJDEP Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations. This included preparing the UST Tank Closure Approval Application, executing all closure procedures including tank decommissioning and site assessment, release reporting, providing remedial services and remedial investigation sampling and analysis program, contaminated soil waste characterization and disposal and preparing closure report. The soil remediation project is completed and a ground water remedial investigation is currently conducted at the site. We have completed a number of projects similar to this project’s size and complexity and continually provides this service described for our commercial clients.
